Privacy Policy

Last updated August 2026. Applies to sellarge.xyz and the Sellarge platform.

Sellarge (“we,” “us,” “our”) runs on verified identity and a permanent deal record — which means we hold more sensitive business data than the average website. This page explains what we collect, why, who can see it, and how you control it. If you’d rather not read all of it: we don’t sell your data, we don’t show your deal contents to anyone outside that deal, and we don’t hold your payment funds.

What we collect

Account details (name, email, company, role), verification documents submitted for Bronze/Silver/Gold review (registration filings, director ID, proof of address), and records generated inside Deal Rooms — messages, documents, payment proofs, and status changes tied to a specific transaction. If you sign up for Price Pulse, that’s just an email address and the profile fields you choose to add.

Why we collect it

To run an existence and identity check before a profile goes live, verify which reps are authorized to act for a company, operate Deal Rooms, calculate Trust Score and Risk Index, generate the documents a deal needs, and maintain the append-only audit trail that makes a deal record legally useful if a dispute arises. We don’t use your data to build advertising profiles, and we don’t sell it — not to data brokers, not to anyone.

Who can see it

Only the counterparties inside a given Deal Room see that deal’s contents — negotiation, pricing, documents, payment proof. Public company and rep profiles show verification tier, Trust Score, and aggregate performance metrics (deals closed, completion rate) — never underlying documents, pricing, or private contact details. A small number of Sellarge staff can access account data to provide support, investigate abuse, or run verification checks, under the same confidentiality obligations described here.

How we protect it

Business identifiers, bank references, and verification documents are encrypted at rest. Deal Room status changes write to an append-only log that can’t be quietly edited after the fact. Uploaded files are virus-scanned and served through signed URLs that expire. The full technical picture is on our Security page.

Payment processing

Sellarge does not hold or process raw payment funds itself. Payments are handled by a regulated third-party payment infrastructure partner, which receives the minimum transaction data needed to route funds — Sellarge never sees or stores your full card or bank credentials.

Sub-processors and service providers

We share the minimum data necessary with vendors who help us run the platform — cloud hosting, email delivery, the payment infrastructure partner above, and identity/registry-verification providers used during Bronze/Silver/Gold review. Each is bound by contract to use your data only to provide that service to us, not for their own purposes.

Cross-border transfers

Sellarge is built for global wholesale trade, so data necessarily moves across borders to make a cross-border deal work. Where we transfer personal data out of the country it was collected in, we rely on standard contractual safeguards or another applicable legal basis for that transfer, consistent with GDPR / UK GDPR and other data protection law that applies to you.

Retention

Completed deal records are retained for 7 years, in line with standard commercial recordkeeping practice for cross-border trade. Verification documents are retained for as long as your profile is active, plus that same period. Erasure requests are honored with PII anonymization — your name and contact details are removed, but the transaction record itself stays intact, since a party to a deal can’t unilaterally erase the other side’s record of it.

Your rights

Wherever you’re based, you can request a copy of your data, ask us to correct inaccurate records, or request erasure of personal information, subject to the retention requirement above. If you’re in the EEA or UK, you have the rights described under GDPR / UK GDPR, including the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority. If you’re a U.S. resident in a state with a comprehensive privacy law, you may have the right to know, correct, delete, and opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information — we don’t sell or share personal information for cross-context advertising, so there’s nothing to opt out of on that front. Local data protection law in your own country may give you further rights on top of these; we honor whichever applies to you. To exercise any of these rights, contact privacy@sellarge.xyz. We may ask you to verify your identity before acting on a request.

Not for children

Sellarge is B2B trade infrastructure, built for verified companies and their authorized representatives. It isn’t directed at children, and we don’t knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal information, contact us and we’ll remove it.

Changes to this policy

If we make a material change to how we handle your data, we’ll update the date at the top of this page and, where the change is significant, notify account holders directly. Continued use of Sellarge after a change takes effect means you accept the updated policy.
